Placement Title: Marketing Volunteer
Minimum Time Commitment: 1 meeting per month and 4-8 hours per week worked at WCHSM and/or off-site based on assigned duties.
Purpose: To support the work of the WCHSM by facilitating and spearheading marketing efforts
Responsibilities:
- Work with staff and other volunteers in the creation and implementation of marketing materials
- Social Media posts
- Create and distribute flyers and brochures
- Update website
- Communicate messaging to staff, other volunteers, and the board
- Attend board meetings as an advisory member when needed
Qualifications:
• Must be a registered WCHSM volunteer and attend training for this position
• Must be 18
• Enjoy creative marketing
• Enjoy working with others
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Well-organized
• Excellent written and oral communications skills
• Comfortable with working with Microsoft Office 2013, Office 365, social media sites, and willing to learn new software as necessary
