History comes alive though our Educational Programs. WCHSM Museum Educators & Staff are committed to bringing enriching, lively, and fulfilling learning experiences to students of all ages.

Plan your museum experience

Make us your classroom! Take a guided tour through our exhibits and choose from one of our many onsite programs presented by a museum educator.
Group tours and schools can enjoy private private tour times Tuesday – Friday 9 am – 1 pm.

Bring the Museum to You!

Museum ToGo… Let us come to you! We’re now offering off-site museum programs that are adapted for your group’s needs.

Virtually… Need more flexibility? Choose to have your program go virtual and interact with a museum educator from the comfort of your home or workplace.

Get Hands-on… With a discovery box. Explore a collection of objects that lets you interact and learn about history.

Tours: 45-50 minutes. Programs: 60 minute presentation, with slides, and Q&A.


Adult Learners and Groups
learning is for all ages at the museum. That includes social clubs, corporate outings, & family groups.

2022-2023 Education Program Prices

At the Museum Tours and Programs

  • $5 per student/adult
  • 1 chaperone per 10 students is free (student groups)
  • $50 minimum (for groups less than 10)
  • Exhibit Tours & Programs: 1 – 1:45 hours
  • Additional fee for programs outside of the museum’s operational hours

Museum ToGo! 

  • $150 for first program
  • $30 Travel Fee if outside Waukesha County
  • $75 for each additional same-day program
  • Duration: 45 minutes with 15 min for Q&A

Virtual Tours and Programs

  • $50 for virtual meeting (limit 100 participants)
  • $75 for virtual meeting (more than 100 participants)
  • hosted by WCHSM on Teams or host of program
  • Duration: 45 minutes with 15 min for Q&A

Discovery Box Rentals

  • $20 per week
  • $30 refundable deposit
  • maximum two week rental

 

Programs and Tours will be schedule for Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays with limited exceptions.
