A comprehensive study of the history of the mineral spring water industry. People came first for the healing waters, then a family vacation destination. Many bottling plants were built to distribute the water.

This book focuses on Waukesha’s historic sties and buildings. The three main periods of the City’s history are: pre-white settlement years through pioneer times (approximately 1800-1867), the spring’s era (1868-1915) and industry and manufacturing.
