Research Center - General Information
Uncover the past in the Research Center at the Waukesha County Historical Society & Museum. We specialize in family and local history research for Waukesha County. Learn about the people, places, industries, businesses, organizations, and ideas that helped shape Waukesha County.
The Research Center is located in Room 304 of the 1893 Waukesha County courthouse complex that houses the Waukesha County Museum. The building is handicap accessible.
Research Center staff members are available to answer questions and guide you in your search. Photocopying and image scanning is available to researchers for a fee. All Research Center materials are about Waukesha County and are for reference only (non-circulating).
While the Research Center serves mostly adults, we encourage responsible students to use our collection as an educational resource.
