Know News? : The Research Center Moves Up in the World
We’ve made it! The Research Center has been relocated to a renovated Room 304 location. There is easy access to the Research Center as it is now located directly across from the elevator. With a new ceiling, carpeting, service counter, new tables, and a fresh coat of paint, our Reading Room provides a warm, inviting and quiet atmosphere. Improved environmental controls such as ultraviolet-protected lighting and central air help protect the collections and provide a more comfortable climate for researchers. A larger area in which collections can be more properly processed, cataloged, stored, secured, and accessed has been created.
We have also had the opportunity to purchase new library stack shelving to expand or replace size-restrictive shelving. Thanks to all those who helped to make this great improvement a reality, we were able to accomplish renovation, relocation, and improved access this past year. We would like to invite you to stop in to see how the Research Center has changed and what it may offer you!
