Placement Title: Volunteer Services Lead
Minimum Time Commitment: 1 meeting per month and 8 – 10 hours per week worked at WCHSM and/or off-site based on assigned duties
Purpose: Work with department staff to train, assign, and oversee volunteers striving to ensure rewarding and fulfilling experiences for all volunteers
Responsibilities:
- Work with staff and other volunteers to oversee placement, scheduling, and orientation for volunteers across departments.
- Maintain and edit volunteer files
- Provide Greeter Desk coverage, including opening and closing procedures when executing onsite duties
- Attend board meetings as an advisory member when necessary
Qualifications:
- Must be a registered WCHSM volunteer and attend training for this position
- Must be 18
- Must enjoy working with others
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Well-organized
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Comfortable working with Microsoft Office 2016, Office 365 and willing to learn new software programs as necessary
