Volunteer Services

Placement Title: Volunteer Services Lead
Minimum Time Commitment: 1 meeting per month and 8 – 10 hours per week worked at WCHSM and/or off-site based on assigned duties

Purpose: Work with department staff to train, assign, and oversee volunteers striving to ensure rewarding and fulfilling experiences for all volunteers

Responsibilities:

  • Work with staff and other volunteers to oversee placement, scheduling, and orientation for volunteers across departments.
  • Maintain and edit volunteer files
  • Provide Greeter Desk coverage, including opening and closing procedures when executing onsite duties
  • Attend board meetings as an advisory member when necessary

Qualifications:

  • Must be a registered WCHSM volunteer and attend training for this position
  • Must be 18
  • Must enjoy working with others
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Well-organized
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Comfortable working with Microsoft Office 2016, Office 365 and willing to learn new software programs as necessary
